La Herencia Cubana Oscuro Fuerte, salomon 7.1x58. What a great cigar to look at, dark oily Pennsylvania broadleaf wrapper. Pepper and spice off the light, but not overwhelming. Quickly settles into a cocoa and creamy slightly cherry fruit flavor. Sweet and spicy but perfectly balanced through the thick part of the big salomon body. Bold and smoky, but again, never overwhelming. Gains a little strength again at the last 3 inches or so, with the pepper coming back mildly. Very complex. One of my favorite cigars.
Paired with ice water.
